Sven L. Smith

Since 1996, Sven Smith has dedicated himself to scholarly achievement and quality performance in real estate and litigation work. Sven has been a litigation attorney for the past 11 years, with seven of these concentrating strictly in real estate litigation. He has participated in many trials, administrative hearings and appeals, and has been the lead counsel in over 50 of these. Sven has been the lead attorney in 29 jury trials.
Sven earned his bachelor’s degree (specializing in Jurisprudential Studies) as Phi Beta Kappa from Stetson University and his law degree from Florida State University. He earned his master’s degree in Law and Society from the University of Chicago and is currently completing his dissertation to receive a doctoral degree in the same from the University of Florida. Sven has worked as a researcher concerning trial development and jury understanding for the American Bar Foundation and some of his work has been recently published in the Vanderbilt Law Review. In addition, Sven has taught law and law-related courses as an adjunct profession at both Stetson University and the University of Florida. Born and raised in Florida, he enjoys the Fort Myers area and continues with the tradition established at the Law Office of Kevin Jursinski: zealous advocacy and scholarship in real estate law.
